As a Developmental Reading and Study Skills instructor at a community college, I am interested in sharing information with my students about global awareness, connections, and opportunities.

I am looking for websites that have a lot of possible points of interaction - possible volunteer and job opportunities, information about events and getting involved with different groups of people, and interesting points of contact with the world. (Maybe this is too much, not focused enough?)
